'Jana' = "All men & women: normalli termed
'The Citizen' of a country"
However, in case the Government of a country is 'Janataantrik', this does not mean that:
"The country remains Janataanrik, but goes on attacking other countries even for making them Janatantrik"; since by and large 'Jana' = Mankind as a whole.
In English there is no word equivalent to 'Janatantara'.
'Democracy' = 'Demonstration-cracy' i.e. the system of Government where people can 'demonstrate' for their demand (s), even if the country be a Kingdom / Monarchy. e.g. 'United Kingdom', India, Germany of 2017 but not 'Saudi Arabia' where people can not demonstrate against the Goverment.
Thus, 'United Kingdom', India, Germany are certainly 'Democratic', but not 'Janatantri'.
Countries like China, Cuba, N.Korea, Vietnam etc are 'Janatantrik' or LD: 'Linolnian Democratic'.

had to redefine 'Democracy' as:
"Democracy is the government by the people,
for the people and of the people"
= 'Janatantra' in one word or
= LD: "Lincolnian Democracy".

Janatantra is not = 'Democracy'
as being taught in many English Schools including in India.
Janatantra is the system of Governance by the people, (not by the party or parties, which divide the people into group for ever).
'Janatantra' जनतंत्र me` Saasan Janataa ke haa`th me` holaa, (naa ki kawano 'dal' ke, je logan ke laRaawat rahelaa).

Some examples of LD or Janatantra:
1. 'Soviet Sangh', USSR. > Between 1989 - 90 which was cunningly destroyed by the Wests using Gorbachev; where there was : "Kaliyug me` Satyug": www.plusgoogle.com , "Truth Era in Black Era".
2. Cin China. EDD 59 Rank > Wests can't destroy it now, but at suitable opporune they would notoriously act to destroy it line USSR.

Presently the target of USA is N. Korea.
