Dr. DD Sharma, B.Sc, B.Sc (Engg), FIE, PGD, Ph.D (Engg), HMDS, A.R
Profile of Dr. Deo Dutta Sharma:
Deo
Dutta Sharma, born on 09th. January 1939, coming from the "House of Vedas & Ayurveda" being son
of Amrit Acharya Pt. Ambika Datta Sharma, Guru of Pt. Bhavani Dutta Sharma, Pt
Devi Dutta Sharma renowned Vaidyas producing Ayurvedic Medicines and practicing
in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, India during 1940-1980. Acharya Sharma was the Guru of Vaidya
Smt Savitri Devi Sharma, serving as a Vaidya in a number of Hospitals of the
Government of Bihar and Dr. Ramkaran Sharma, a World fame Sanskrit Scholar. Deo
Dutta Sharma studied Ayurveda under Guru-Shishya parampara from his uncles Pt.
Bhavani Dutta Sharma, Pt. Devi Dutta Sharma and sister Vaidya Savitri Devi
Sharma.
During
1953-54 young D D Sharma not only passed Madhyama in Vyakaran and Sahitya from
DS Sanskrit College, Bihar Sanskrit Association, Patna: but also completed SSE
of BSE Board, Patna in !954 for which completed Project Work under the guidance
of Respected Science Teacher, Mr. Madhusudan Thakur, BB Collegiate School,
Muzaffarpur, India; in this process Deo Dutta Sharma became an independent Inventor of "System Engineering" at
the age of 15 years.
DD
Sharma came in contact with Dr. Bindeswar Chatterjee, a stalwart
Homoeopath of Muzaffarpur, India and studied ‘Classical Pure Homoeopathy’
from Dr. Chatterjee during 1956-58, and considers him as his Guru. During
1954-56 D D Sharma had completed I. Sc from LS College, and B. Sc degree also
in 1958 from LS College, Bihar University, India.
D D
Sharma studied Classical Homoeopathy further and was awarded HMDS Diploma from
H.M & H, LaheriaSaraya, Darbhanga, Bihar, India in 1985.
During
1959-62 D D Sharma studied Mechanical Engineering from BCE, Patna University
and was awarded B. Sc (Engg) (Mech) degree in 1962. One of his Professors used
to teach Mechanical Engineering providing similes from Human Body, praising the
Nature. This infused the idea of “Human-machine”
in DD Sharma. After this he started serving CEDB, HSL, now Mecon Ltd as an
Engineer.
All
along the above period, Deo Dutta Sharma studied Vedas and made self-studies,
experimentations, and Research on Palmistry, the foundation of which was laid
to by his mother, Smt. Deva Rati Devi in his childhood itself. Thus, DD Sharma considers his mother his
Guru, as regards Palmistry is concerned. Later he became the Author of the book
entitled "Palmistry as Science and Technology" published by
lulu.com.
Since
Palmistry is directly concerned with Man,
the Human-machine, Dr. DD Sharma considers that "Palmistry should form a part of the curriculum of
the studies of all Physicians", for more info in this respect, one can refer the book
"Palmistry as Science and Technology". Palmistry as a science
and technology is directly concerned with Human-machine, since Palmistry is
concerned with "Health, Happiness and enjoyable LongLife" of a person. Thus, Palmistry is
included in "Eclectic Medical System-D" as defined by Dr Deo
Dutta Sharma on LinkedIn.
Eclectic Medical System-D:
Dr
Deo Dutta Sharma defines “Eclectic
Medical System-D” as “the most suitable system for the sufferer concerned, out
of Modern Medical System (MMS), Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, and or any other system
available for the time being”; since the main aim of the treatment is providing
“Health, Happiness and enjoyable LongLife” to the patient, instead of insisting
upon sticking to a particular medical system.
The Practitioner of the “Eclectic Medical
System-D”, PEMS should be knowdgeable
/ qualified of at least two major medical systems so that s/he has views wider
enough to decide which system shall be best suited to a particular sufferer at
a particular juncture.
Dr.
Deo Dutta Sharma’s Life Time experience depicts that “No single
Pathy is Complete in itself; what is practically impossible for one Pathy or
Medical System, can be cured in no time by some other system like a magic”. Thus in his opinion the “Eclectic Medical System-D” as
defined above is the best for a sufferer, which is quite different from the
Eclectic Medical System in vogue in USA till 1940. The “Eclectic Medical
System-D” differs from the ‘Holistic System’ also since the latter employs many
system, whereas the former “finds out the best ones out of many” and uses the
same.
Thus, the Life of Dr DD Sharma is devoted for
‘Studies of Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Modern Medical System, Palmistry …and Others
for the sake of ‘Health, Happiness and enjoyable LongLife of Human-machine’;
resulting into “Eclectic Medical System-D” as defined by Dr DD Sharma’
FAQ:
1. What is
“Eclectic Medical System-D”?
Dr. Deo Dutta Sharma defines “Eclectic Medical System-D” as “the most suitable system for the
sufferer concerned, out of Modern Medical System (MMS), Ayurveda, Homoeopathy,
and or any other system available”; since the main aim of the treatment is
providing “Health, Happiness and enjoyable LongLife” to the
patient, instead of insisting upon sticking to a particular medical system and
providing immediate relief somehow.
The letter ‘D’ at the end of Eclectic Medical System-D refers to ‘D’ of ‘Deo’, to distinguish it
from the ‘Eclectic Medical System’, a nineteenth Century Botanical Medical
System prevalent in USA from 1825 to 1939.
The
“Eclectic Medical System-D” is
different from:
(a) Holistic
Systems since most of these allow
use of different systems arbitrarily; indiscriminately, aimlessly.
(b)
Naturopathy since these depend more on the use of natural things like soil,
sunlight, heat and cold etc. and prefers
minimal use of drugs, surgery etc. whereas has no such restrictions.
The Practitioner of the “Eclectic Medical System-D”
should be knowdgeable of at least two major medical systems so that s/he has
views wider enough to decide which system shall be best suited to a particular
sufferer at any juncture.
- Why
“Eclectic Medical System-D”?
Dr. Deo Dutta Sharma’s Life Time experience depicts that “No single Pathy is Complete in itself;
what is practically impossible for one Pathy or Medical System, can be cured in
no time by another system like a magic”. Thus in his opinion the “Eclectic
Medical System-D” as defined above is the best, which is quite different from
the Eclectic Medical System in vogue in USA till 1940. There are several
examples of this but Dr. DD Sharma likes to present only one example here due
to paucity of space.
In 1966 he went to a 500 bedded well equipped MMS
Hospital of SAIL, Durgapur for the sake of his son suffering from high fever.
The well experienced Physician prescribed medicines for my son, and asked,
“What was wrong with me?” since he saw me in pains.
I showed him a wound between the ring finger and the
little finger of my right hand. After observation, the Doctor said, “You come
tomorrow and he will do operation to set it right”
I thanked him and said that the ‘wound’ was Ghinai and
should not be operated. Immediately he replied, “The wound was not Ghinai. Had
it been so, he wouldn’t have advised like that”.
I kept quite since the Doctor was much experienced. The
next day he did excision, after which I felt relief.
But this relief was quite short. The operation was
performed at 11-30 AM, and the wound started paining severely after 5 PM. Due
to unbearable pain, I went to hospital the next morning, although I was asked
to go after 3 days.
The next day morning also I had to go for dressing. From
next to next day it became routine for me: not to sleep the whole night due to
unbearable pulsating pain, to go for dressing in the morning when the dresser
would insert medicine soaked cotton gauge inside the cavity to fill it, all
with extremely unbearable pains.
What a life!! The wound was going on increasing day by
day even with taking several medicines and injections. I could not sleep for 26
nights due to pains. One can feel my sufferings although the best possible MMS
, Modern Medical System treatment was being entertained.
Due to insistence of my uncle, Pt. Bhavani Dutta Sharma,
I had to go to my home at Muzaffarpur on occasion of the marriage of my cousin.
A well-qualified MMS Doctor attended me, he himself re-dressed my wound with
gauge insertion.
Next day after dressing I went to Sheohar with the
marriage party with 28 th nights awake and unbearable pain. I had become
worried about my wound very much, it could become
cancerous as well.
Magic of
Healing Power of “Chandasi Cobra Chhap”:
As soon as
I reached Sheohar, then a small town, a Doctor came to attend me. According to
MMS he was a Quack. I also questioned him whether his knife was sterilized? He
simply replied, “Nothing to worry, you will be alright now”.
The Doctor,
(certainly not as per MMS) took out the bandage coolly applied an ointment all-round the wound and replaced a new bandage,
when I asked, “Doctor, without inserting
a gauge, wouldn’t the wound grow inside and inside?”
The Chandasi Doctor replied coolly again, “Nothing to
worry, you will be alright now”.
I just kept quite as there was no other way out.
The Magic: (a) No pain
developed that evening.
(b) I could sleep well nicely first time after 28 nights.
Magic continued.
The next morning the Doctor came oc bi-cycle as usual and
asked, “How was I?”
I replied, “I slept in the night first time after 28
nights, I thanked him”.
He said I should meet him the next day in the clinic when
the marriage party would return.
I went to his clinic but he was on some visit. His wife
asked me my name and whether I was coming from the Muzaffarpur marriage party.
She said me to sit and take a wide mouth bottle and fill it with the particular
ointment with the help of the knife. I did accordingly. She told me not to open
the bandage till 3 more days, after which the bandage should be opened and some
fresh ointment be placed on the wound after checking its heeling.
Magic: (c) On
the 4th. day when I opened the bandage, to my surprise, the cavity
was fully healed up with red colored flesh.
(d) What the Modern Medical System, MMS could not cure
even a small wound for 27 days with all its medicines, injections, regular
dressings, a Chandsi Doctor, the so called Quack by MMS, could cure with
fullest confidence, may I say, in 3 hours!!!
This is fully in accordance with “Eclectic Medical
System-D” since at that moment in Sheohar that was the best medical facility
according to Mr Ram Dayal Pandey. During 1948-50, there was a Chandsi Dawakhana
by the side of Ayurvedic ‘Vishwavandhu Aushadhalaya’ of my uncle Pt. Bhawani
Dutta Sharma and Pt. Devi Dutta Sharma situated in Motijheel, the market market
center of Muzaffarpur. India. Chandasi are famous in India for the treatment of
various types of wounds, particularly chronic ones like piles, lymphatic
glands, cancers etc. The method of preparation of their ointments, are the
secret of Maity-Family coming from West Bengal, India.
From my
above experience it is evident that where the Modern Medical System was
completely ineffective, nay really aggravating the problem, Chandsi treatment
was highly effective and worked like a Magic. Thus my this personal experience
recommends not to stick to a particular Pathy but adopt “Eclectic Medical
System-D”, i.e. the best of all available ones. There are many such examples,
this is Ex-1.
Why Aha
? Why not Aah, haa, ahA ?
In
“Eclectic Medical System-D”, “The angle of attack ’on the sickness or ailment’
should be maximal”. Thus, ‘Aha’ meaning
‘Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Allopathy respectively’ is decided in accordance
with the decreasing order of ‘The Angle of Attack’; which is:
360*N
degree, N = Number of Planes for Ayurveda;
120 degree
in 1 plane for Homoeopathy; and
0 degree
for Allopathy.
3. The Main Advantage of adopting “Eclectic
Medical System-D”.
The main advantage and effect of adopting “Eclectic Medical System-D” are the
following:
3.1. No
Incurable Disease:
What is
practically incurable by one medical system, can be cured easily and
conveniently by some other system.
3.2 No
Mercy Killing:
The Mercy killing
would be unethical, illegal, once “Eclectic
Medical System-D” is adopted by all.
3.4. Unnecessary harassment of many persons devoted to
the service of humanity, by police or such other government agencies due to
unethical but legal aspects will stop once “Eclectic
Medical System-D” is accepted by all.
3.5 Monopolistic
behavior of some System: Presently there is monopoly of the Western MMS as regards
most Governments are concerned which is in no way appreciable. The adoption of “Eclectic
Medical System-D” by all will provide equal opportunity to all without
providing monopolistic opportunity to MMS, the Modern Medical System.
3.6 There
will be freedom of choice of treatment to all, once “Eclectic Medical System-D”
is accepted by all.
3.7 Poor
people will get benefitted more with adaptation of “Eclectic Medical System-D”
is accepted by all.
3.8
Scarcity of Doctors will reduce:
The
Practicners of “Eclectic Medical System-D”, PEMS can be easily available everywhere
particularly in remote or in rural areas with “Three Year Degree Course”
followed by 6 month internship provided to each students studying at least 3 major
Medical Systems.
3.9 More
Employment:
The
adaptation of “Eclectic Medical System-D” by all will generate a lot of
employment to Youngers.
3.10 Better
Health Awareness:
The
knowledge of common persons related to “Health, Happiness and enjoyable LongLife” will
increase and the knowledge will not be limited to only one medical system.
3.11 Shifting
from one Pathy to the other by well qualified PEMS Doctor: At present this is
done by a lay-man.
In case a critical situation develops to a patient, the
dicision of changing from the ineffective system to a more effective one, is
generally taken by the close relative, guardian or friends who may not be
normally competent, not even a Doctor qualified in a particular System will be
competent since s/he is not normally qualified or knowledgeable of other
Pathies.
But the Practitioners of “Eclectic Medical System-D”,
PEMS being qualified in at least 3 Medical Systems will certainly be a
competent Doctor who can advise the patient or relatives which medical system
or systems which will be more suitable. Palmistry also can be a very useful
tool in decision making to such Practitioners.
4.
Brief Description of Some Major Medical Systems
Some of the major medical systems are briefly described
below analytically to make the readers aware to some extent, just for the sake
of comparison. The star *shows that this needs special consideration for
shifting from an ineffective medical system to more effective one, for the time
being.
4.1. Modern Medical System, MMS:
The Modern Medical System:
The ‘Modern
Medical System’ also known as Allopathy is a Western medial system:
Dr DD Sharma is not much aware or knowledgeable of this
system, but what he has gathered from the discussions with persons, Doctors practicing
Modern Medical System (MMS), on the basis of the same, very briefly the
following analysis has been made:
The MMS basically use surgery, and very effective
medicines or drugs. Each drug discharges a particular function e.g. (a) for
head drug a1 is used, (b) for stomach drug b1 is also prescribed to the same
patient, (c) for stomach problem, drug c1 is used….and so on. For each symptom,
there is a specific drug is ready. It is very simple. Thus the basis of
selecting a drug is 1:1, meaning for 1 symptom, there is 1 drug.
This means
that Vision or the Angle of attack of MMS, Allopathy is Zero, working on the
basis of 1:1.
4.1.1.
Surgery: The achievements of MMS are
superb in the domain of Surgery. Thus, all Surgical, particularly external
accidental cases one should approach a Surgeon without loss of time.
4.1.2.
Fever: MMS is very effective in
case of fever caused due to bacterial infections, but it is not effective in
viral infections like: various types of pox*, Chechak*, HIV*, Influenza*,
Common Cold*...
*Depicts: Think
yourself before selecting a particular Pathy or Medical system, better consult
any PEMS
4.1.3.
Sugar: MMS is Effective but sharp
fluctuation disturbing*.
4.1.4.
B.P Problem: MMS effective with
continued medication.*.
4.!.5 Eczema: MMS not much effective*.
4.1.6
Piles: MMS is somewhat effective.
Surgery may be perpetual*.
4.1.7
Arteritis: MMS is effective in most
cases with or without Surgery.
4.1.8
Blood, Lever problem: MMS somewhat
effective in Jaundice*.
4.1.9.
Epilepsy: MMS effective in
Neurological cases mainly*
4.1.10
Gynecological cases: MMS very
effective.
4.1.11
Cancer: In Uterus and breast cancer
cases for female and prostate gland cancer. MMS quite effective with timely Sugary,
other cases hardly effective*.
4.1.12
Gland problems: MMS somewhat
effective*
4.1.13
White patches: MMS is very risky*
4.1.14
Leprosy: MMS very effective.
4.1.15
Jaundice: MMS somewhat effective*.
Allopathy,
MMS Score of * = 9 out of 14. [Lower, the better
Success
Score = (15-10)*100/15 % = 33 %
4.2
Homoeopathy:
Homoeopathy is one of the most resent Medical System
started 1865 by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann
of Germany in 1865, although he was originally a Practitioner of MMS.
My hats off 11 times, to such a great Scientist, Doctor,
Physician, Pharmacist who has made possible to develop a technique with which
the cost of production of Ayurvedic Bhasmas and Rasas like Homoeopathic
medicines was reduced drastically;
Ø not only this, he also devised the technique to increase
the effectiveness, ‘Potency’ of medicines and measuring it quantitatively and
precisely.
The method of enhancing the ‘Potency’ and dilution of
Homoeopathic medicine, is somewhat the same as giving a specified no. of ‘Puts’
while preparing Bhasmas, Rasas in Ayurveda. The Bhasmas are also called Rasas
since after each Put; the metallic part is dissolved in mercury making amalgam
of the metal. Thus due to the use of liquid i.e. Ras, a Bhasma is also called
Ras. In Homoeopathy the main medicine is dissolved in pure water or in alcohol.
Look at the
similarities between Homoeopathy and Ayurveda:
(a) ‘The higher is the number of ‘Puts’ for preparing a
Bhasma, the higher is its ‘effectiveness’ and lower is the quantity of mother
medicinal substance. Each Put is given by keeping the medicinal substance in
fire as specified.
(b) In case of Homoeopathy, the higher is the ‘Potency’, the
higher is the ‘effectiveness’ of the medicine and the lower is the quantity of
medicinal material. Potency is increased just by diluting and shaking the
solution of the medicinal substance.
(c) What a similarity between (a) and (b) above, but due to
use of fire and fuel, Ayurvedic Process is more costly and time consuming. On
the other hand the Homoeopathic Process is extremely cheap.
The
Specialty of Homoeopathy:
Unlike
other Pathy, Homoeopathy is based on the Principle of “Simily Similia”.
Dr. Samuel Hahnemann,
the Father of Homoeopathy found that: “When a dilution of a herb or mineral of
enhanced Potency is given to a pure body, it develops some symptoms in him or
her. When a patient reports the same symptoms, The Remedy is the same dilution
and Potency”.
He tried on himself to get the effect or Symptoms of many
dilutions and wrote the famous book “Materia Medica”, laying the foundation of Pure Classical Homoeopathy.
According to this, there can be only one Remedy, although
a Patient may be suffering from several diseases.
Thus, Homoeopathy works with ‘One Remedy for several
diseases’, i.e. 1 : many.
Thus, the
‘Vision of Homoeopathy is quite wide, with 120 degree Wide View’.
For the
similar symptoms in 2 patients, the Remedy may not be the same due to some
other sensitive factors.
An
analytical study of Homoeopathy has been made below very briefly:
4.2.1 Surgery:
As an HMDS, Doctor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery I
know the importance of surgery (without knife & scissors, of course) by a
Pure Homoeopath. Only the other day such a surgery of a gland was done to a
young boy, completely curing him within 4 days costing about Rs 40 only; which
otherwise could have cost him about Rs 2500 and 15 days to cure the same.
Surgery due to external accident cases homoeopathy is
poor*
4.2.2
Fever: Homoeopathy is effective
even in viral fevers like fever due to Common Cold, fever due to Chechak, pox,
mumps. But there are several causes and remedies of fever in Homoeopathy, so quite
often it needs good expertise*.
4.2.3
Sugar: quite effective.
4.2.4 B.P
Problem: homoeopathy is highly
effective. With 4 to 7 days medication, High B.P problem is completely removed.
No further medication needed for 2 to 3 years.
4.2.5
Eczema: Very effective.
4.2.6
Piles: homoeopathy is quite
effective.
4.2.7
Arthritis: quite effective.
4.2.8 Blood
and Lever problem: homoeopathy is very
effective.
4.2.9
Epilepsy: may be effective*
4.3.10
Gynecological cases: not so
effective.*
4.2.11 Cancer: Homoeopathy is highly effective.
4.2.12 Gland
Problem: Homoeopathy is highly
effective.
4.2.13 White
patches: very effective.
4.2.14
Leprosy: homoeopathy may be
effective.*
4.2.15
Jaundice: somewhat effective*.
Homoeopathy
Score of * = 5 out of 14. [Lower, the
better
Success
Score = (15-5)*100/15 % = 67 %
4.3
Ayurveda:
(a)Specialty of Ayurveda:
Ayurveda
basically do not give much importance to drugs, medicines or surgery.
“Ayurveda
is basically knowledge, science, art or technique of increasing the Life of a
person”.
The aim of
Ayurveda is “Health, Happiness and enjoyable LongLife” of a
person.
Ayurveda is
an Indian System of having good “Health, Happiness and enjoyable LongLife” of a
person.
Ayurveda
emanates from Atharva Veda, the Ancient Indian Treasure of Knowledge, followed
by Rishi, Saint Dhanwantari.
(b) Ayurvedic Treatment depends on the Nature of the Person:
According
to Ayurveda, the nature of a person can be basically Vatic, Pittic, Kafaic i.e.
Wind, Bile, Phlegm type, as depicted by the three ‘Rings’ on the wrist of a
person. The basic nature or the inherent
nature of the person is depicted by the “Three Rings” on the wrist to whom the
wrist or Palm belongs. These Rings or Lines are the meeting grounds of Ayurveda
and Palmistry. Refer the book “Palmistry as Science and Technology”, lulu .com
for details.
The
momentary status of Vat, Pitta and Kafa of a patient is depicted by the ‘Nature
of Pulse Beats’ of the person.
(b)
Vision of Ayurveda:
The Vision
of Ayurveda is 360 degree, that too in different planes. Since Ayurveda
utilizes several techniques apart from medicines such as: Yoga, Praanaayaam,
Aachmani, Traatak, Meditation, Pathyaapathya i.e.diet, Bhajan, … surgery,
Palmistry or Saamudrik Shaashtra, Panchaangam.
(c)
Ayurveda is not just a Medical-Science:
And
Ayurveda is not just the use of Herbs as most people believe now a days. How
about metalic Bhasma, Ras, Rasayan?
Ayurveda is
not Simply a Medical Science, but it is the Science or Knowledge of ‘Increasing
Life’, Longer Enjoyable Happy Life. Literarily Ayurveda means Ayu + Veda =
Knowledge of Increasing-Life. Thus, Ayurveda includes, employs many techniques
as mentioned above.
(d)
Types of Medicines:
Just like
Homoeopathy in Ayurveda also, remedies may be different for different patients
for the same disease, depending on the nature of the patient, whether the
patient is Vatic, Pittic or Kafaic nature.
In fact in
Ayurveda all eatables are categorized on the basis of above. Some are shown
below: An * shows the nature.
Eatable Vatic Pittic Kafaic
Milk - - *
Curd * - -
Ghee,
butter, oil - - *
Banana * - *
Apple * - -
Cucumber * - -
Most spices - * -
Those
eatables color of which do not become brown or brownish help in blood
purification and reforming cells, and tissues e.g.
Aamlaa,
Anaar, pomegranate, jamun, orange, Ramkeshaur, black tea are anti-oxidant and
prevent their oxidation and detoriation; thus help in longevity.
Ayurveda prepares and utilizes the following main types
of
Medicines:
Medicines
made from Herbs generally dried and Powered, Avaleh, fermented medicines like
Asava, Arista;
Bhasma,
Ras, Rasayan. Bhasmas are made mostly from metals as well as from herbs.
Many say
that Ayurvedic medicines are basically from Herbs; this statement is only partially
correct in view of above.
An
analytical study of Ayurveda has been made below very briefly:
4.3.1
Surgery:
Surgery due to external accident cases mainly is poor*
4.3.2
Fever: There are several causes
and remedies of fever in Ayurveda, so quite often it needs good expertise*.
4.3.3
Sugar: quite effective.
4.3.4 B.P
Problem:. Not much effective.*
4.3.5
Eczema: Effective.
4.3.6
Piles: Very effective.
4.3.7
Arthritis: quite effective.
4.3.8 Blood
and Lever problem: effective.
4.3.9
Epilepsy: Ayurveda is Very effective.
4.3.10
Gynecological cases: not so
effective.*
4.3.11
Cancer: For Blood Cancer is very effective,
less for other types*.
4.3.12 Gland
Problem: not so effective*.
4.3.13
White patches: not effective*.
4.3.14
Leprosy: not effective.*
4.3.15
Jaundice: Ayurveda effective.
Homoeopathy

4.4. Some
other important Medical System:
Unani,
Tibbi, Biochemic, Electro-Homoeopathy, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Acupressure.
Chandasi, and many others.
Just a
touching reference of some of the above is given here to aquent the reader their
to start with:
4.4.1.
Acupressure:
Acupressure
is of Chinese origin and it does not basically use of medicines.
Acupressure
is a technique of pressing certain specified parts of the body of the sufferer,
which gives her/him sometimes immediate relieve to the patient.
4.4.2
Acupuncture:
Acupressure is also of Chines origin. This is similar to Acupressure but more severe
as it uses a type of needle and instead of pressing with fingers.
4.4.3
Biochemic Remedy or Tissue Remedy or Schussler’s Tissue Salt Remedy:
This is
system of medicines evolved by Dr Schussler, a Homoeopath in 1873.
According
to Dr Schussler: “Disease is caused by the insufficiency of organic salts in
the tissues or cells of the body and that the supply of these deficient salt(s)
the disease is cured”. Very nice and simple remedy of
complex problems.
He
identified 12 basic Homoeopathic Remedies as the Biochemic Remedies.
These
medicines are given in low Potency in Biochemic and thus act very fast.
4.4.4
Chandasi:
Chandasi Treatment is not a system of medicines but it is
very use ful for various kinds of wounds including Cancer. The method of
preparation of their Ointment is a ‘family-held-secrecy of ‘Maithi Family West
Bengal, India’.
It is
already introduced above in Para-2
Chandasi
Clinics are famous in India due to the magical cure of Cancer, piles, fistula, and
such other hemmorrhoidal problems.
Chandasi is not a complete system as this entertains
mainly above types of problem.
4.4.5
Electro-Homoeopathy;
This System
is of Italian origin and is not related to Homoeopathy.
As promulgated
by the Italian Scholar Electro-Homeopathy follows:
(a)
Law of vitiation of Blood and Lymph.
(b)
The making of spagyric essences by the method of
‘Cohobation’.
(c)
It believes in diluting the spagyric essence instead of
potentizing.
The active
ingredient in Electro-Homoeopathy is mineral salts which function by
neuro-emmune endocrine system.
‘Electro’
of Electro- Homoeopathy means just ‘fast acting’.
4.4.6 Naturopathy:
Naturopathy believes on the principle of ‘Vitalism’in
which a vital force guides the human body processes like metabolism, growth,
reproduction and adaptation. It uses
non-evasive Holistic methods with minimum use of drug and surgery. Benedict
Lust is considered as the father of Naturopathy in USA.
Naturopathy approach is Holistic within the above domain.
There are many variations of Naturopathy depending on the nature of training of
the Naturopathic Practitioner.
Naturopath
prefers A to use Nature Cure with:
(a) Therapies like ‘exposer to natural elements like soil,
sunlight, heat or cold, fresh air.
(b) Nutrition like vegetarian or whole food diet, fasting, avoiding
salt or sugar.
(c) Sports, Yoga.
(d) Hydro-Therapy,
(e) Psychological treatment
(f) Meditation
(g)
Relaxation
A
Naturopathic Practitioner may use therepies of some other Medical system like:
Acupressure, color therapy, Herbs, Colonic enemas,
Homoeopathy.
The difference
between “Eclectic Medical System-D” and Naturopathy:
Thus, one can think how close it is from the “Eclectic
Medical System-D”! The basic difference lies in the Domain of the Naturopathy.
There is no such Domain in case of “Eclectic Medical System-D” as defined in
Naturopathy.
The
Practitioners of Eclectic Medical
System-D are free to adopt and use any other

concerned specialist(s) of the other particular system best suitable for Cure
of the Patient which is the sole aim.
4.4.7
Unani-Tibbi:
Unani-Tibbi
is basically Greek medicines which were adopted by Arabs and
Iranians, which hah been developed further by Arabs and Muslim Scholars. Some
notable names are: Al Tabbari 840-870, Al Jahrawi930-1013, Avecenna,
Sometimes
this system was highly developed complete system, something like Ayurveda. In fact European system adopted this system
to a great extent.
Similar to
Greek Humoral theory, Unani-Tibbi considers Human as spiritual, emotional and
physical.
Unani-Tibbi
is based on 4 basic humors of Human Body: Dum (Blood), Balgham (Phlegm) , Sufra
( yellow bile), and Sauda (black bile).
Every
person own characteristic humors which have to be in balance.
4.4.8 Other
Medicines;
Eclectic Medical System-D is theoretically much closed to
Naturopathy, as any other remedy can be recommended or adopted by PEMS, a
Practitioner of Eclectic Medical System-D,
Some person becomes specialized in treating a particular
problem only. Eclectic Medical System-D accepts their services as well for the
good of Humanity.
To make the subject clear, a true example is given below:
Once I visited one of my family friend. The boy who
served tea was looking abnormally weak. When I asked him, “Why he looked so
week?”
No sooner the boy looked towards me, I got shocked bto
see his eyes. He was suffering from acute Peelia, Jaundice. His father had gone
to Germany, so I called his mother and said that the boy was severely affected
by Peelia and who was treating him. She named a local practitioner of MMS.
Since they were entitled for a 500 bedded SAIL hospital
of Bhilai, Durg, Madhya Pradesh, IndiaI requested his mother to send the boy to
the hospital with Mr. X the next door neighbor
who had recommended and taken the boy to the private Allopathic Doctor. Since
the boy’s father was not in India then, it was all the more necessary to take
the boy to the authorized Hospital by the employer of his father.
Next morning when I went to the hospital with Mr. X, the
Casualty Dr. scolded Mr.X left and right to see the condition of the boy. The
Doctor immediately recommended for the blood test. I took the boy to the P.
Lab. The Mythologist called me and said to me that in his 20 year working, he
had never seen such a severe case. He
himself rushed to the Doctor who admitted the boy in the Hospital.
Seeing the severity of the case which was not even controllable
by Ayurveda what to talk about Modern Medical System, I asked the Doctor
whether the boy is allowed to go home, unofficially of course; so that the
family of the boy can arrange for a Dose of special medicine for curing jaundice
before the sun rise aa essential requirement of the South Indian Practitioner
of Jaundice. The MMS Doctor was also well aware of the Dose and agreed with the
condition that the boy must reach the Hospital the next morning well before 8
AM. We agreed.
When I came to see the boy the next day evening, I got
relaxed to observe that about 80 % of
the problem had been reduced, and now the boy was curable by Ayurveda.. On
hearing my words, the boy’s mother felt very much relaxed, as she was much
worried and was in great tension.
Another
Magic By ‘just one Dose of ‘Anti-Jaundice’ medicine given by a South Indian
Expert cured such a severe Jaundice which was not curable by Modern Medical
System, nor even by Ayurveda perhaps. But Just one Dose could cure the Jaundice
by 80 % in 10 hours. Magic. This is fully in accordance with “Eclectic Medical
System-D”.
There are
many such examples, but I feel one example may be good enough for those who
think good about a patient.

Review & Critical Analysis in Brief:
Regarding
the above analysis, the following points are notable:
Since the main aim of Ayurveda is to keep a person ‘Healthy, Happy, and provide enjoyable
LongLife’, a Vaidya tries such procedure, technique, method, which provides
long trouble free and healthy life to the person who came as a patient, (not
simply curing the symptoms and making the patient happy by 1:1 technique of
MMS). Thus with Ayurveda more or less a person does not require to visit a
Vaidya, Physician frequently. Ayurveda is not 1:1 as depicted in sl.no.(1).
Thus, a simplistic result and data shown above may be misleading in case of
Ayurveda; which has ‘360 degree angle of attack’ to get rid of all sorts of
problems of the Patient by “Providing a few medicines, asking to take proper
diet, doing some exercise and or Yoga”.
What is stated above for Ayurveda, applies to Homoeopathy
as well to a great extent; since the angle of attack of Homoeopathy is also
wide enough, being 120 degree, compared to 0 degree angle of approach of MMS.
On the basis of the above a one thing is clear that ‘None of the Pathy or Medical system is
complete in itself’, and those who depend on or keep sticking to a single
Pathy, even if it is ineffective, or aggravating the problem, may be loser, of course one can have her / his
own views.
