Although the core CPI barring Food and Fuel prices remained remained steady at 7.4 %, but rise in mostly Food prices particularly Vegetable resulted in total high inflation. Inview of this GOI says: now they will monitor with WPI instead of CPI. However, it is the CPI effects individuals.
